Happy Birthday MoMo!!

Meg turned 2 years old on Saturday, and boy can she throw a party!

We had pizza, cupcakes, rootbeer floats, and a full day of swimming! I love swimming at my family. There is always laughter and tears, and her birthday was no exception.  Greg and I arrived a little before everyone else and we were greeted by two very excited Chatterley girls! They could not stop giving us hugs and were just laughing. I think they were exctied for the party to start! Meg had a Tangled themed party. Well we hung lanterns and had Tangled cupcakes. The girls loved it!

Greg and the girls! I took so many pictures and this was the best one. Little kids are hard to take pictures of!

Getting ready to eat some pizza for lunch!

Me and the girls needed a break from the pool.

Of course kids were getting thrown in the pool. This is where the tears come in. We had a few belly flops, Ayden had the wind knocked out of her, and Mack tried to do a backflip and landed on his butt on the side of the pool. I so wish I had pictures of these events. They were so funny! I know you shouldn't be laughing when a little kid is crying, but none of us could help it. No one was seriously hurt, I think they were more scared then anything. Mack's by far was the best! Jace stood on the edge of the pool and did a backflip in. Mack just had to try that. He asked him how he did it and Jace showed him one more time. So Mack jumps up puts his legs out and lands flat on his butt and then slid in backwards into the pool! Oh it was priceless! Everyone was histarical. Even his mom, so she was not to good at comforting him.

Ayden waiting for Alison to get up so they can jump up together.

My poor dad turned into a ladder to get to the diving board.

Luckily I got my camera out of the way before Greg squirted me.

Greg and I with the girls!

Ayden was learning how to swim without her floaties! She did such a good job and was so excited! I can't believe how old she is getting.

Cupcake time! The kids loved the cupcakes. Mainly the frosting.

Meg laughing at all the frosting she had in her mouth. She had so much frosting that day. She would lick it all off and put the cupcake back on the tray. She would then grab the next one and do it all over again. I bet she ate the frosting off of 8 cupcakes! She had to have been sick that night!

After cupcakes each kid had frosting all over them! It was time to spray them off!

Time for presents!

Meg is so hard to shop for! All the other kids are easy and I can always find something for them. But Meg does not have a favorite toy. She wants whatever someone else has, or Cannon Greg. I thought about giving her a day with Greg, but I don't think she would have understood it. Then we thought about giving Elyse something and having Meg take it away from her like she always does. But that would just be mean for Elyse. So we ended up getting her candy, bubbles and pet shop toys. Lets just say it was not her favorite present.

She got some great stuff! She got a backpack with wheels, a play vacuum, a grocery cart, and a Cinderella dress. I forgot that she loves anything she can push and she could push almost all of those, so she was in heaven! She loved her presents and had a really hard time sharing. We kept hearing "Mine" as she would grab it out of hands. It reminds me of the birds on Finding Nemo that just say "Mine, mine, mine" That is what Meg does! The biggest thing she would get mad at if someone grabbed was the candy! So I guess we won on that part.

Meg is not that girly and was not a huge fan of the dress. Now Elyse is the definition of a girl. She loves to look pretty, hates to be dirty, and loves anything pink and sparkly. She also loves every single princess. So when Elyse saw the Cinderella dress I thought she was going to have a heart attack. She could not get to it fast enough and wanted to wear it so bad! Just look how big her eyes are.

Jill put the dress on Elyse and she was so happy. She could not stop smiling and did not want to take it off. Luckily Meg was not a fan of the dress so she did not throw a fit when Elyse put it on. I think I know what I am getting Elyse for her birthday!

Meg did however, want to wear her backpack. She loved it! She also filled it with her candy so no one could get to her. She makes me laugh.

After presents and cupcakes it was back in the pool. Greg is the favorite and every kid wants to be with him. He always takes the kids off the diving board, this time they all had to go! Ayden's face is awesome! She was just a little scared.

But they all survived the jump!

Meg's party was such a blast! I love spending time with my family. We always have so much fun and the little kids are the cutest kids in the world. They all have the best personalities and are always making us laugh. Happy Birthday Meggie Moo, thanks for the great party!
