Hurray for the Pioneers!!

I just love Holidays! My family always gets together and we have so much fun. This year was no different. Since Pioneer Day was on a Sunday we all had Monday off of work. We headed up to my parents Sunday after church as usual, but this time it was a little different. We were going to camp out at my parents and go swimming the next day. I was pretty excited to have a giant sleepover with my family (mainly the kiddos).

We were welcomed by Batman when we arrived!

After eating some delicous pulled pork sandwhiches, corn, salad, and watermelon we headed outside to have some fun!

The kids love to be pushed on the swings, and they love to go high! Tyla had mastered the underdog!

The girls love playing beauty parlor. I should them how you wash hair in the sink and they could not get enough of it! They kept fighting to wash each others hair. In a few years they will be fighting to get their hair washed!

My mom has bought a bing bag toss game. She is in love with it! She is always begging people to play with her. Sunday was no different, but this time she kicked it up a little. We had a tournament with a 50 cent pay in. Greg put all the names in a hat and pulled them out to make the bracket. The bracket was set and the competition began! My mom and dad started out. Somehow almost all the couples ended up playing each other. My dad won and advanced to the next level.

I was playing Kevin, it got pretty closse at the end.

But I still beat his sorry butt!

The tournament lasted forever!! We had 12 players and it was the first one to 100 won. It took a few hours to finally have a champion. The final 3 were Eric, Greg, and my dad. It was double elimination since there were 3 of them and I  thought my dad was going to take it. Eric beat him at the end and became the champion of the 2011 Bing Bag Toss Tournament. He won a whole $3!!

Me and the girls watching the game.

People were really loosing interest.

Kylie had bought some fun fireworks, poppers and snaps. The kids loved them and had so much fun! Greg showing Meg how the poppers worked. She loved them!

Kylie and Elyse with the poppers. I think Kylie was a little more exctied about them.

While we were doing poppers and waiting for the sun to go down it was time to put up Hotel Chatterely!

Greg showing Meg what snap did not pop.

Elyes was having so much fun with the snaps!

Tyla and the girls.

The kids had so much fun in the tent!

The boys having some fun with the $1 fireworks.

They were trying to have them go off in the air. They stuggled with that. They would usually go out before they would hit the ground. Or go off in their hand. So smart.

This is right after Greg threw it in the middle of all the girls sitting down. He is so funny!

Our lovely fireworks.

We had the mattresses blown up and the kids loved them! They had a lot of fun until Meg turned them into wresteling mats. She threw Elyse down and then body slammed her. She is such a bully.

Its not camping with out peach cobbler!

Doesn't that look so good? Thats because it was!

Here is Mack doing "Hulk Smash!" When he is The Hulk his shirt rips off everytime.

Greg and I decided against the tent with 5 kids and settled on my old room. We made a good decision seeing how they woke up at 5:15.

Goodnight Kiddos! We had to get our good night kiss.

We woke up at about 7:30 and had a great breakfast. It was a little cloudy but we were still up for swimming. We played around outside for a little bit first and boy was I tired! The kids got their suits on and the pool opened. Greg and I headed to go change but saw the bed and decided to lay down for just a little bit. 2 hours later we woke up and hurried outside to go swim. We woke up just in time for everyone to get out and watch a movie and nap. I was so disappointed! We had just woke up and were ready for some fun. So we joined in on the second nap. Once the kids were happy again it was time to swim!
I have zero pictures of swimming this time. I was asleep at the beginning and was in the pool the whole time later. I know you are so sad about that.

Yep, its almost football season!

We got some pizza and had a late lunch/early dinner. Everyone was a little tired and ready to go home. But just because the adults were tired doesn't mean the kids were. Ayden and Elyse loved to spin in circles. I know this picture is blurry and kind of creepy that way, but look how happy Elyse is!

Mack was playing catch with everyone! He was having so much fun and would tell you to keep your eye on the ball. It was so cute! My brother Greg asked him how to catch it, so Greg threw it to him and Mack turned his head as the ball was coming and caught it. He told Greg, "Just like that! Keep your eyes on the ball." It was hilarious! I love that kid.

They were playing Duck, Duck, Goose and were having so much fun!

Of course they had to have Greg come play with them.

I think Ayden is the only one who really knows how to play. They would all get up and chase each other around when Goose was said, except for her. She would wait for them to come sit back down. They had so much fun playing!

I just love spending time with my family! They are always making me laugh and have so much fun. Thanks for the great idea for the camp-out Mom!

Oh yeah! Here is Mack talking about super heros.
