Eight of Thirty.

An animal you'd love to keep as a pet.

Yes this commercial is super annoying and weird, but I want that tiny giraffe!! Can you imagine how much fun that would be to have a tiny giraffe? I would totally buy a giraffe print purse and carry it around with me. It would be so much fun. So if any of you have a way to get me this tiny giraffe, please do. I will love you forever!

Seven of Thirty

Something you're looking forward to.

Wow there is a ton I am looking forward to.  Summer, my canvas pictures to arrive, the weekend, dinner tonight (I hope it's good), finish decorating my house, Greg getting a job, the hair show, Greg getting into graduate school and for work to be over. But the biggest thing I am looking forward to is me finishing school. I just can't wait!!

I want to be done and working in a salon so bad! I'm only in my second semester and I'm already ready to be done. And it doesn't help that I spend most days looking at salon sites and girls my age hair blogs. So many girls my age have been doing hair for like 3 years and I am so jealous. It makes me so depressed seeing where I could be if I would have started earlier. Oh well at least I'm doing it now.

But I seriously need to stop looking at them. I look at ones that I would love to work at and see how much they charge for things. Then I start thinking if I could do booth rent, and if I could actually get a clientel. It is just not good for me to do this haha.

I just need to enjoy school while I am there, and I do. I love school and have so much fun there. I love doing hair and learning new things all the time. I need to just embrace it and stop thinking of "what if's". But seriously,

I CANT WAIT TO BE DONE!!!

A photo of something you ate today.

One of my favorite dinners. Lemon chicken and rice! And green beans I guess. I'm still working on making it as good as my mom and I'm getting there. I think I do a good job, but nothing I make is never as good as my mom's. So this is one of my meals for the day. And Its kind of my only real meal hahah, instant breakfast just don't count. So hurray for lemon chicken! And Greg even likes is. BONUS!

Five of Thirty

Your make up bag!

I love my make up bag! It was a great find at Big Lots. Its nice that it has two compartments so I can divide my eyeshadow from the rest. And holders for my brushes and mascara. I just love it. There is only one problem. I keep getting more make up and am running out of space. I need a bigger bag.

It may seem that I love make up and play around with it, but I don't. Well I am slowly getting into it. My mom gets me make up every year for Christmas, so she is the reason behind my large collection. But I'm really starting to like it. I have finally figured out how to use more then one eyeshadow and why there are so many brushes. I really love make up now and can't wait for Christmas!!

Four of Thirty

A photo of yourself five years ago.

This picture may not be five years ago, but its as close as I have. This was taken my senior year of high school. I had so much fun when I was looking for this picture. I found all my old pictures and loved looking at them! I had forgot all about the pictures and the friends I had and the stuff we used to do. It brought back so many memories!!

Oh Tucker, this is my boss's grandson who I played with almost everyday. I loved that little kid. He was so much fun. This day I dressed him up like a nerd haha.

But this is what I looked like in high school. I don't think I look that much different. Well besides my long curly hair haha but other than that I'm pretty much the same.

Three of Thirty

Something you crave a lot.

There is so much stuff I crave! I swear everyday I crave something. Today I am actually craving chinese food. We are going to Greg's parents house to watch the BYU game so I can't make any! And I don't know of a good resturant in Provo, so if any of you do, please LET ME KNOW!!

If kind of weird with my cravings. If I am at my parents house I crave a turkey sandwich with balsamic vinegar to dip it in. My mom always has the best bread and lunch meat and all the toppings. So everytime I go there I want to eat one. Its to bad I am usually there for Sunday dinner so  I can't have my sandwhich. But if I am there any other time its one of the first things I do!

Whenever I go to Greg's parents house I always want strawberry milk... weird. When we were dating and when we lived there for a little bit I found out that I love strawberry milk. His mom always has the mix's to make it and some how I got hooked on it. I'm not kidding, I drink it all the time when I get there. I will have some tonight I am just sure of it!

But there are two main things I crave all the time. And lucky for me I can combine them!

ICE CREAM and CARAMEL!!

Oh man I just love that stuff!! I seriously want it all the time. Just ask Greg. Oh and whip cream! Oh I love that too. I dont even need anything to put it on. Just give me the bottle! But I can never pass on ice cream or caramel. I just have to have it.  Once my taste buds got all jacked up and I didn't like chocolate of peanut butter anymore my world about collapsed. But then I found caramel and everything was so great! But luckily I can eat peanut butter and chocolate now, its just not as good as it once was.

But if any of you ever want to make me the happiest person ever just bring me a tube of ice cream and some caramel!!

YUM!!

Two of Thirty

A habit you wish you didn't have.

Oh where do I start!! I have a million habits I wish I didn't have.  I am constantly playing, twisting, and scratching my hair. It drives me nuts! I'm sure most people think I have dirty hair, and most the time I do. But even on days that I wash it I am always messing around with it. I just can't stop. Once I start playing with it, I then start to feel the scare on my head and mess with that. This bugs me so bad and I need to stop!

But that is not my most irritating habit to me.

Yes, I pop my knuckles like crazy!!

I actually am constantly popping every bone in my body. It grosses Greg out so bad! But every bone in my body always pops. And they are not hard to pop. They pop when I don't even try to pop them. I think I am falling apart.

Popping my back, wrist, tailbone, toes, neck, ankle and knees don't really bother me. It's popping my knuckles! I find it so annoying when other people do it, yet I do it myself. I think it bugs me so bad because its loud, and I do it every ten minutes it feels like. This by far is a habit I wish I didn't have and I need to quit. And yes I did pop my knuckles while posting this.... I need help.

One of. Thirty

I guess technically this is question 2.

Your favorite photograph of your best friend.

Brooke has been my best friend since 7th grade! We met the first day of school in choir. We sat alphabetically and Goffin and Green were right next to each other. Our teacher had us take a few minutes and get to know the person next to you if you did not know them. So Brooke and I started talking and found out that we were a lot alike! We each had 8 people in our families, 6 girls and 1 brother and we were both the youngest. We both loved four wheeling and going to the sand dunes and loved the same music. Everything she said I agreed on and everything she said I agreed on. We could not believe how similar we were. I was pretty happy to have made a friend that day and one I had common interest with. We also had science together next period and sat by each other in that class as well.

Brooke and I have had so much fun together and have did almost everything together. We were inseparable. Until I moved away to college. We were only about 30 min away but it meant that we could not see each other as much. She remained my best friend and still is.

If you have met Brooke you know why I love her. She is hilarious!!! I am constantly laughing at the things she says, even though most of the time she is not trying to be funny. She is just great and has always been there for me.

Just ignore me and look at Brooke!! This is one of my favorite pictures ever!! This was taken in Hawaii a few years ago. We were there with Greg and some of his friends, and trust me once this picture was seen we made fun of her the whole trip. Its just priceless haha.

I love this picture of us!! We may be doing weird faces, and Brooke's eyes are a little weird but this is us. This is why Brooke is my best friend, she is always having so much fun, and makes everything fun. This picture just shows Brooke for who she is. She is gorgeous and always having fun!

I say that Brooke is my best friend, but she is really not. She was my best friend forever until I met this guy.

Oh Greg. How could this face not be your best friend?
I love this picture because this shows who Greg really is. He is such a goof ball!! He is always messing around and playing jokes.  It's like he is 12 years old. And that is why he is my best friend. He keeps things so fun and immature. When life gets tough and stressful he is always there to make me laught, even when he has had a rough day.

Greg is the best thing ever! I am so lucky to be with him and to always see my best friend. We have so much fun together and spend as much time as possible together. He makes me laugh all the time but is also there for me when I have had a rough day. He lets me cry when nothing is going right and takes care of me when I'm sick.

He is the perfect best friend. He cares for me and supports me in everything I do. He is always there for me.  He is the only one I want to spend time with and love being with him. We have so much fun together in everything we do.  I can tell him anything and trust him with everything.

I love this picture of Greg!! I think he looks so cute! This is by far my favorite picture of him. He is the best friend and husband ever. You all should be jealous that you don't have him.

The past few months!

Greg and I have been having so much fun the past few months. We are loving our calling and it is keeping us busy. Once a month we have FHE at our house which is an adventure. We were expecting about 25 kids to come, which was going to be hard since we live in a little basement. I came home from work and Greg had moved everything out of our living room except the couches and had brought in a ton of folding chairs. We were ready. We also needed to provide dinner for them. I did not want to cook for that many kids, so pizza was what we had! Greg went and bought 7 boxes of pizza so that we would have plenty, he also made 5 gallons of gatorade! We had enough food and seating, we were ready for our first FHE. The kids starting showing up and about 12 came, not as many as we thought we would have. So we ended up having 2 boxes of pizza left and 4 gallons of gatorade! It was a great night and we got to know a small group of the ward. Next time we will prepare for a fewer amount. We ate the pizza for lunch and dinner the next few nights and Greg was in charge of  drinking the gatorade (it's not my fault he made a flavor I don't like) after a few weeks we were down to about 2 gallons when Greg said it was starting to taste funny. We opened the top of the cooler and this is what we found.

It had started to mold!! How gross is that! Poor Greg, I thought he was going to puke when he saw it.
I wish I would have taken more pictures of how our house was set up. I have been such a slacker with pictures. I'm saving up for a new camera because I hate Greg's so hopefully that will help!

VALENTINES DAY!

Greg and I kept it simple this Valentines Day (budgets will do that to you). We stayed home and had a nice dinner and watched a movie. I wanted to make a more special dinner for that night, something that we don't have every night. So I made Fetticinii Alfredo with a Ceasar salad and breadsticks. It sounds way good huh! Well it wasn't. Some how I messed up the fetticinii. It had zero flavor to it! I was so disappointed in it. But we just kept adding salt and pepper and garlic powder to it so it was okay by the end. But at least the salad and breadsticks were good!

My sister Amy threw a Valentines Day dinner at her house the fallowing Sunday. If you know my sister you know that she goes all with the stuff she does. We should up to her house and it was so cute with her decorations. We did a breakfast dinner with waffles, bacon, sausage, fruit, and a french toast thing she made. It was delicious! After dinner we sat around and talked and then we did a photo booth that she had set up. It was so much fun to take funny pictures with my family and see my nieces and nephew be crazy!

The Chatterleys!

Ayden and Meg were so cute and took so many pictures! Their mom and dad were at home with the new baby!! Yes my sister just had a baby. So is so cute! Her name is Elle, I will have to get a picture of her soon!

All the little ones together!!

Family photo!! I really think Greg wishes Meg was our kid. Those two cannot get enough of each other!

The Wahlins!! Poor Elyse was ready to be done!
Oh and Kylie is pregnant!! But she is only a few months along and not due for awhile.

The Parentals! They are so goofy.

Carrie and the girls!

I love this pictures of Mack giving Carrie a "Big" kiss

Mack want's Greg's nose.

Mack gets Greg's nose.

The boys are happy and Meg is confused.

Me and Carrie looking oh so good!

These pictures still need to be edited, I'm just lazy.

After we had our fun with the photo booth it was time for the next activity. BINGO!! Amy had made the cutest BINGO cards ever!! The squares were pictures of everyone in the family. They were so cute and fun. I took one home to frame for my Valentines decorations. Oh and I also took home all of her other cute decorations that she had made. Amy is so great!

Mack was having a blast playing BINGO!
(I bet you couldn't guess that is his dad)

Ayden was so focused, she kept yelling at Jace that she was not ready when we would draw out the new picture.

Amy's dinner party was so much fun. She is such a good hostess and always does way to much for it. But I love it! I hope she keeps doing fun things, because I never will.

This year for Valentines Day I decided I wanted to make a cake. I was going to give fondant a shot. I keeping seeing my friends making these way cute fondant cakes so I wanted to join in the fun. It was not that hard to work with, but I also did keep it very very simple.  I tried to make some cute flowers to go on it but I did not succeed. They looked horrible!! But I have some left over fondant so I will be practing with it to master flowers, and other cute things I can make. It was so much fun to make it, but it was also really messy.

I had to coat my table in Crisco to roll out the fondat.... very very greasy.

I found a heart shaped cake pan and was so excited to use it.... I didn't know that you are only supposed to us half of the cake mix.

This is Carter. He lives upstairs and was helping me out while his mom was painting. He is so cute and loved to throw things away, I loved having him help me!

Coloring fondant colors everything! My hands looked like I had killed someone..... Valentines Day Massacre all over again.

And here is the finished cake! I think I did a pretty good job for my first time ever with fondant. It is very simple but give me some more time and my cakes will be amazing and detailed.

Presidents Day!

This year for Presidents Day Greg and I were planning on going out to Cainville to go dirtbiking. We didn't have school and I took the day off of work. We were excited to get out there. But the weather was not excited to get us out there. It snowed that weekend was to cold to go. I was a little bummed but we decided we would do something else fun that day.  So we went off and saw True Grit which was so good! We got there not as early as we would have liked and had to sit in the very front. But then Gregs cousin called and said him and his wife were at the very top and had 2 seats by them! We hurried up there as fast as we could. It was so nice to watch it not looking up the whole time.  After the movie we headed over to the new Provo Resort down in the riverwoods. I had heard all about it and wanted to check it out. They have a ropes course, arcade, bowling, courqet course, golf simulator, a clothing store and a indoor surf area! The place is crazy! We didn't do anything we just walked around and checked it out. We want to go back and do the surfing one day. Im a little nervous because its glass walls around so everyone can see you surfing...or falling in my situation. But it would be so much fun. One day we will do it. Once we were done there we headed up to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving point. That was awesome. Those things are so big! I am very glad they are excinct. They would be scary to have around. We also saw a 3D movie while we were there on T-Rex. It was really cool and we learned a lot.

On our way to the museum!

When you stood in front of this light your reflection would be all the colors. It was sweet! There was also this room where you pushed a button and held still and when the light truned off your shadow would still be there! We tried to take a picture but it wouldn't work.

The only other thing that is taking up our time....and I would say most of our time is
BYU BASKETBALL!!
Greg and I had tickets to all the good games this year. And we had so much fun at them!! We have also watched all the games that we were not at. This year has been so fun! They are so good and could do really well this year in the tournament. Greg loves BYU athletics so much...well just Basketball and Football, so our lives kind of revolve around that. And I don't mind. I love going to the games and watching them.

This is at the BYU VS SDSU game. It was packed an hour before the game started. It was insane!!

Everyone stormed the court after the win. I can't tell you how loud it was there the whole game. My throat was killing by the end of the night.

This is our frined Andy... He is hilarious.

I love her shirt! Its so funny. I talked to her and she really was due that day! I guess it doesn't surprise me, she does look like she is ready to pop.

We stayed after the game for a few hours... it ended around 9 and we got home around 11:30. We watched all the players come out and get interviewed. It was pretty fun. Notice how I am the only girl there.... and we are with a lot of older guys. Those are Greg's dad's best friends. They are crazy and so much fun.

With Greg loving BYU basketball he is in love with Jimmer....just like everyone else is. And when that whole thing went down with Michelle and her editoral about people worshiping him Greg was right on it. He posted many comments on her facebook along with everyone else... and none of the stuff written on her wall was offensive like she said. After everyone found out about her facebook wall many articles were written about what happened. ESPN, FOX NEWs and a few other big people picked it up. They picked there top 10 favorite things written on her wall. And Greg's post were in 3 of the top 10 picks!! How crazy is that! He was quoted everywhere! There was even a sign at that game with one of his quotes... I had no idea he was so famous.

We have also been sick.. we have just had really bad colds that wont go away. Mine was not as bad as Greg's and didn't last as long. I feel so bad for him. I come home the other day and this is what I found.

He brought our tv from our bedroom in and watched a movie while taking a bath... and do you see the crackers on the side of the tub. He also had some snacks.

But that has been what we have been up to for the most part. I need to be better at updating so I dont bombard you with so much stuff at once! I need to do it in small amounts. But until then, this is what you get so enjoy!
