The past few months!

Greg and I have been having so much fun the past few months. We are loving our calling and it is keeping us busy. Once a month we have FHE at our house which is an adventure. We were expecting about 25 kids to come, which was going to be hard since we live in a little basement. I came home from work and Greg had moved everything out of our living room except the couches and had brought in a ton of folding chairs. We were ready. We also needed to provide dinner for them. I did not want to cook for that many kids, so pizza was what we had! Greg went and bought 7 boxes of pizza so that we would have plenty, he also made 5 gallons of gatorade! We had enough food and seating, we were ready for our first FHE. The kids starting showing up and about 12 came, not as many as we thought we would have. So we ended up having 2 boxes of pizza left and 4 gallons of gatorade! It was a great night and we got to know a small group of the ward. Next time we will prepare for a fewer amount. We ate the pizza for lunch and dinner the next few nights and Greg was in charge of  drinking the gatorade (it's not my fault he made a flavor I don't like) after a few weeks we were down to about 2 gallons when Greg said it was starting to taste funny. We opened the top of the cooler and this is what we found.

It had started to mold!! How gross is that! Poor Greg, I thought he was going to puke when he saw it.
I wish I would have taken more pictures of how our house was set up. I have been such a slacker with pictures. I'm saving up for a new camera because I hate Greg's so hopefully that will help!

VALENTINES DAY!

Greg and I kept it simple this Valentines Day (budgets will do that to you). We stayed home and had a nice dinner and watched a movie. I wanted to make a more special dinner for that night, something that we don't have every night. So I made Fetticinii Alfredo with a Ceasar salad and breadsticks. It sounds way good huh! Well it wasn't. Some how I messed up the fetticinii. It had zero flavor to it! I was so disappointed in it. But we just kept adding salt and pepper and garlic powder to it so it was okay by the end. But at least the salad and breadsticks were good!

My sister Amy threw a Valentines Day dinner at her house the fallowing Sunday. If you know my sister you know that she goes all with the stuff she does. We should up to her house and it was so cute with her decorations. We did a breakfast dinner with waffles, bacon, sausage, fruit, and a french toast thing she made. It was delicious! After dinner we sat around and talked and then we did a photo booth that she had set up. It was so much fun to take funny pictures with my family and see my nieces and nephew be crazy!

The Chatterleys!

Ayden and Meg were so cute and took so many pictures! Their mom and dad were at home with the new baby!! Yes my sister just had a baby. So is so cute! Her name is Elle, I will have to get a picture of her soon!

All the little ones together!!

Family photo!! I really think Greg wishes Meg was our kid. Those two cannot get enough of each other!

The Wahlins!! Poor Elyse was ready to be done!
Oh and Kylie is pregnant!! But she is only a few months along and not due for awhile.

The Parentals! They are so goofy.

Carrie and the girls!

I love this pictures of Mack giving Carrie a "Big" kiss

Mack want's Greg's nose.

Mack gets Greg's nose.

The boys are happy and Meg is confused.

Me and Carrie looking oh so good!

These pictures still need to be edited, I'm just lazy.

After we had our fun with the photo booth it was time for the next activity. BINGO!! Amy had made the cutest BINGO cards ever!! The squares were pictures of everyone in the family. They were so cute and fun. I took one home to frame for my Valentines decorations. Oh and I also took home all of her other cute decorations that she had made. Amy is so great!

Mack was having a blast playing BINGO!
(I bet you couldn't guess that is his dad)

Ayden was so focused, she kept yelling at Jace that she was not ready when we would draw out the new picture.

Amy's dinner party was so much fun. She is such a good hostess and always does way to much for it. But I love it! I hope she keeps doing fun things, because I never will.

This year for Valentines Day I decided I wanted to make a cake. I was going to give fondant a shot. I keeping seeing my friends making these way cute fondant cakes so I wanted to join in the fun. It was not that hard to work with, but I also did keep it very very simple.  I tried to make some cute flowers to go on it but I did not succeed. They looked horrible!! But I have some left over fondant so I will be practing with it to master flowers, and other cute things I can make. It was so much fun to make it, but it was also really messy.

I had to coat my table in Crisco to roll out the fondat.... very very greasy.

I found a heart shaped cake pan and was so excited to use it.... I didn't know that you are only supposed to us half of the cake mix.

This is Carter. He lives upstairs and was helping me out while his mom was painting. He is so cute and loved to throw things away, I loved having him help me!

Coloring fondant colors everything! My hands looked like I had killed someone..... Valentines Day Massacre all over again.

And here is the finished cake! I think I did a pretty good job for my first time ever with fondant. It is very simple but give me some more time and my cakes will be amazing and detailed.

Presidents Day!

This year for Presidents Day Greg and I were planning on going out to Cainville to go dirtbiking. We didn't have school and I took the day off of work. We were excited to get out there. But the weather was not excited to get us out there. It snowed that weekend was to cold to go. I was a little bummed but we decided we would do something else fun that day.  So we went off and saw True Grit which was so good! We got there not as early as we would have liked and had to sit in the very front. But then Gregs cousin called and said him and his wife were at the very top and had 2 seats by them! We hurried up there as fast as we could. It was so nice to watch it not looking up the whole time.  After the movie we headed over to the new Provo Resort down in the riverwoods. I had heard all about it and wanted to check it out. They have a ropes course, arcade, bowling, courqet course, golf simulator, a clothing store and a indoor surf area! The place is crazy! We didn't do anything we just walked around and checked it out. We want to go back and do the surfing one day. Im a little nervous because its glass walls around so everyone can see you surfing...or falling in my situation. But it would be so much fun. One day we will do it. Once we were done there we headed up to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving point. That was awesome. Those things are so big! I am very glad they are excinct. They would be scary to have around. We also saw a 3D movie while we were there on T-Rex. It was really cool and we learned a lot.

On our way to the museum!

When you stood in front of this light your reflection would be all the colors. It was sweet! There was also this room where you pushed a button and held still and when the light truned off your shadow would still be there! We tried to take a picture but it wouldn't work.

The only other thing that is taking up our time....and I would say most of our time is
BYU BASKETBALL!!
Greg and I had tickets to all the good games this year. And we had so much fun at them!! We have also watched all the games that we were not at. This year has been so fun! They are so good and could do really well this year in the tournament. Greg loves BYU athletics so much...well just Basketball and Football, so our lives kind of revolve around that. And I don't mind. I love going to the games and watching them.

This is at the BYU VS SDSU game. It was packed an hour before the game started. It was insane!!

Everyone stormed the court after the win. I can't tell you how loud it was there the whole game. My throat was killing by the end of the night.

This is our frined Andy... He is hilarious.

I love her shirt! Its so funny. I talked to her and she really was due that day! I guess it doesn't surprise me, she does look like she is ready to pop.

We stayed after the game for a few hours... it ended around 9 and we got home around 11:30. We watched all the players come out and get interviewed. It was pretty fun. Notice how I am the only girl there.... and we are with a lot of older guys. Those are Greg's dad's best friends. They are crazy and so much fun.

With Greg loving BYU basketball he is in love with Jimmer....just like everyone else is. And when that whole thing went down with Michelle and her editoral about people worshiping him Greg was right on it. He posted many comments on her facebook along with everyone else... and none of the stuff written on her wall was offensive like she said. After everyone found out about her facebook wall many articles were written about what happened. ESPN, FOX NEWs and a few other big people picked it up. They picked there top 10 favorite things written on her wall. And Greg's post were in 3 of the top 10 picks!! How crazy is that! He was quoted everywhere! There was even a sign at that game with one of his quotes... I had no idea he was so famous.

We have also been sick.. we have just had really bad colds that wont go away. Mine was not as bad as Greg's and didn't last as long. I feel so bad for him. I come home the other day and this is what I found.

He brought our tv from our bedroom in and watched a movie while taking a bath... and do you see the crackers on the side of the tub. He also had some snacks.

But that has been what we have been up to for the most part. I need to be better at updating so I dont bombard you with so much stuff at once! I need to do it in small amounts. But until then, this is what you get so enjoy!
